The Isle of Wight Garlic Festival is on the main Sandown to Newport road - the A3056 - at the Fighting Cocks Crossroads, near Newchurch.

Buses
The Garlic Festival is on a regular bus route.  See Southern Vectis for details.

Ferries
Car ferries run from Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Lymington to Yarmouth (Wightlink) and from Southampton to East Cowes (Red Funnel).
Passenger ferries run from Portsmouth to Ryde (Wightlink) and Southampton to Cowes (Red Funnel)
The Hovercraft runs from Southsea to Ryde (Hovertravel).

Trains
The Portsmouth to Ryde passenger ferry run by Wightlink connects to the railway which runs to Sandown, Lake and Shanklin. (Island Line).  A bus or taxi is then required to take you to the Garlic Festival ground.
